Hello to all of the miracle makers, friends and families of a DMer, St. Luke’s employees, and community members! I’m ecstatic writing to you today because in exactly FIVE WEEKS we will begin dancing for 17 hours. FIVE WEEKS. Can you believe it? I sure can’t. The Executive Team, Morale, Feet in the Street and all of our dancers are working together tirelessly to raise funds and awareness for the kids. All of our efforts will culminate into our big day on February 22nd, and it will be worth every second of dedication when we flip those numbers over at 8am on the 23rd.

I want to thank everyone who has contributed this year in any way, shape, or form. I speak for the entire organization when I give my sincerest thanks to each and every one of you. We officially succeeded in raising over $17,000 on Thursday for our annual 17k in a day event! This was truly a wonderful day packed FULL of events around town. We had a blast and it gave us a small taste of what February 22nd will feel like! Check out our recap video HERE!!

This being my fourth and final DM is very bittersweet. I remember the day I signed up for my first Dance Marathon. It was Fall 2015 and I was in my very first semester. As I was walking through the Involvement Fair, I noticed a group of energetic individuals laughing and dancing in front of a table. I signed up that day and never looked back. If you want to provide the same experience I had as a freshman, send this LINK to 3 friends when you’re done reading this and let the fun begin! REGISTER REGISTER REGISTER!!!

A couple important dates to be aware of are listed below:

Dance For The Chance, January 27th from 11:30am-5:00pm in the Student Union Building

Tater-thon, February 8th (2/08) in the afternoon (Exact time TBA) @ St. Paul’s Catholic Center (Across from the B)

Please dig deep and remember why you have invested in this organization. NOW is the time to raise money. NOW is the time to register all of your friends. NOW is the time to do whatever it is YOU need to do to make Dance Marathon the best night of the year - for you, for St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, and most importantly: FOR THE KIDS! Whether you’re a participant, a donor, a community member, or fall into another category - you’ve got this! Continue to register people, raise funds, and raise awareness for the kids just 1 mile away at St. Luke’s Children’s. Together, we can #StepUpForTheKids and make this the best Dance Marathon that Boise State has ever seen!
